Steeringproblem with Logitech G29

#1 Post by petkoe » 26 Mar 2017 16:37

Hello,

I have an problem with my steeringwheel. When I turn my wheel 40 degrees to the left or right the ingame wheel goed very fast to 100 degrees. I have this problem since a couple of weeks and only in ETS2 and not in ATS, and that is weird because the settings are te same..

Can anyone tell me what to do.

You need to go into Logitech Gaming Profiler and set the turning to 900 degrees for ETS2.

I lost all FF after trying the wheel in the Scania sim. (hoping the pedals would work correctly, but still inverted)
Somehow the FF in Scania sim affected the ETS settings and killed all FF :(

If it's anything like a G27, just unplug the USB cable, give it a few seconds to think it over, then plug it back in. It should re-calibrate, then everything should be fine. It does the same thing in every older SCS title I have tried. But it is a simple fix, which takes all of maybe 30 seconds to do.

As far as the Logitech Profiler goes, you should definitely try it. I use it every time I run the game because it allows me to assign keyboard keys to the buttons on my joystick, which is normally not possible. Doing that gives me more buttons than I actually use...

Thanks Axel! I'll try it out. I have the profiler loaded in the mini dock (popup). It seems to have trouble recognizing that ETS is running due to the Steam interface masking ETS.

Unfortunately it didn't work. The wheel is powering a centering spring force only. Nothing in game will change that.

Edit: Verified game files and FFB returned.
