thanks, finally I did some modifications in the profiler and besides I added as a new game the file steam_api64.dll from the same folder with the exe for 64bit. it worked, still I need to launch the game from steam but this is only a minor problem. if it won't work forever, I will keep in mind to add ETS2 as a persistent profile.

Tarso wrote: 11 Nov 2016 00:20 On steam => right click on ETS2 => select properties => on general tab => click at SET LAUNCH OPTIONS => write only -64bit and click ok

Use the normal icon on your desktop and you`re done

delete any change you did to the path or simply delete the current desktop icon and use the CREATE DESKTOP SHORTCUT for a brand new one free from changes.
Is there an options flag list somewhere? I've been looking and can't find one anywhere for some reason.

There's really no point in adding -rdevice dx11 just use the launch option. The game will automatically launch with the previous settings you used, so if you add -rdevice and then pick dx9 it will ignore -rdevice in future until such time you manually use dx11 launch option.

@ItsHarryUK In steam click play and then select one of the 64 bit options.
