Warning! Some achievements might be affected with Mods

#1 Post by SiSL » 30 Sep 2014 03:10

00:57:54.625 : <ERROR> Achievement target value is zero! (job_all_trailer_types)

Following error came from my game log, which indicates, custom trailer types might be affecting achievements to get counted for "deliver all Cargo types" kind of achievements.

It might be also true for "drive 999 km" from all brands of trucks if you are using custom truck as well.

So if you are after achievements, disable your mods.

SiSl...i think not all exaclly.
I´m saying this because i notice that when i play my vanilla profile they have one count.
But then, if i change to my moded profile, the counts change as well to what you have with that map.
I can´t remember wich ones exaclly, but at least some of them, only swiched when i achive a something with the other profile.
But i trhink that some imediatly change.
I know this because i´ve been checking the diferent loads count...so,if in one profile i had,let say 10/30 cargos.
when i change profile i changed back on to 29/30 wich was my count in that profile.
I hope i´m not very confusing...
bottom line, some work seperatlly, only sometimes is emidiatlly and others only change when obtained.
But of course some migth be influenced, some may not ;)

It might can affect some achivements like the one posted in the first post.....but i guess that only trailermods don't count in which the trailers do not have a cargo group set to them so that they won't count for that achievement.

I wanted to reset achievements and found out the following (just in case you want to start from fresh).
On the Steam screen right click on the ETS2 name and a window will pop up with 'Properties" at the bottom.
In the properties dropdown there is a "Set Launch Options" selection. this will open a window that allows you to type in.
Enter "-resetstats" and restart the game from scratch.

Don't forget to delete the -resetstats after launching the game or it will reset every time you open a new session.

Hi, I see you can reset game achievements. Thanks for that tip Tumbles. Is there a way to reset only one stat?

I used a Fast Economy mod and got the MiniMaxer achievement in one delivery. I only wanted to gain skill points a little faster than normal. I removed the mod and went back to before completing the delivery. the game is back to normal just not my Steam Achievements.

Has anyone done this? What happens the next time you play the game? For example my map is fully explored. Does the Pathfinder achievement unlock right away?
