settiing up a g920 wheel , pedals and shifter

#1 Post by miloguy » 24 Mar 2017 04:35

I just bought myself a logitech g920 wheel, with pedals shifter and the gaming software ..
I used to drive with a controller (xbone) and now trying to figure out how
to set this thing up..
I used the dpad on the controller for the wipers, maps and cruise control.
so I'm hoping to do something similar..

i have both ates and ets2

any ideas, also what about auto/manual never driven manual..
..thanks.,

Well that is quite a big question! How you set it up comes down to what is comfortable for you, not how I have mine set up. But as a suggestion, I use the buttons on the right for things I need all the time - lights, wipers, cruise control - set and resume - the thingy on the left for look left right and straight, the paddles for increase decrease cruise control. I use an Eaton Fuller 13 speed gearbox - simply because I enjoy it - so the shifter is set for that layout. I upgraded to a 920 from a DFGT specifically so I could manual shift.

Really you have to experiment and find what works best for YOU!

One other thing to consider - there is a little program around (I can't remember where I got it from), which isn't a mod but improves the force feedback for Logitech devices. Well worth searching for.

Cheers
