The video is fine, I guess his system misses a plugin. In my case it was encoded and displayed by QuickTime.

an Xbox360 controller and a joystick plugged in and configured, but I only use the mouse+keyboard
There you go.
Disable Controllers you don't use in ETS2, in ETS2 settings.
You can't have them all calibrated the same, and the not used controllers can influence the ones you use.
Keep your controllers part of the settings as clean as you can.

And about the video, QuickTime encoded .mp4, yep, my system refuses to play that.
The corresponding "codecs" are not available, including the Bonjour crap.
Thank that "fruity" firm for that.

Actually, I explained it wrong, they have been configuered in the past, but are not active right now. The game does not respond to inputs to them, which I just checked.

Wait did this have a topic, think I missed it... :/ warning, rant ahead.

Other game:
Guys, I think you got the wrong game, I can recommend a really good racing sim if you like, I just bought it my self, its AMAZE-balls.

Eurotruck Simulator 2 (Did you see the word truck there?) Good, continue...
In this game you drive trucks/lorries/semi's and they are in Europe allowed to drive 70 - 90 abit depending on what your hauling and it differs in some countries.
Most countries has 80 km/h as the highest allowed speed with a trailer.

That said, have gotten up to 95 or 100 once or twice going down hill, never noticed an issue.

Hell, even that short trailer you haul sand/ore/coal in is stable now, it used to be wobbley as hell, even the sligthest turn could put you on the side, but even that was "manageble" you
can drive. But that was extreme, so I understand if not all of you are as professional as me. I even tried my almost best to make it nervous now and it would not budge, stable as the rock in its belly.

Just waiting for someone to complain they could not take a turn on the motorway/highway what ever... doing 180 km/h with their 1500 hp truck.

I dont mean to sound mad or anything. *grr* :]

Edit:
After reading the posts maybe there was something wrong with your setup that caused the issue, but still... kinda gets to me, "oh I did a 110 km/h and the truck tipped over, its a bug!" :D
I think I need to go hide in some dark corner again. :o

I've seen people complain that the new physics make the cabin vobble too much, its just fine, want too much then try the physics mod, thats crazy, even I get dizzy. Now its pretty close to the real thing from what I've been able to tell. If get sick driving in this game maybe its not for you I'd tell them people.

Am I ranting again Oahahahahaa? :< snap!1 .. :|

There are edits all over the place, if this post seem agressive or OT, I'm drunk! *h..ick!*

configure them again. unplug them one by one, see what happens... takes a few seconds, shorter than posting a reply on the forum
Retired, but still loving it.

I'll post this here as its almost on topic.

And this is a well known issue, people have mentioned this before but I dont think I've noticed it until 1.9 came.

Namely the 6x4 4 chassi is pretty unstable. Its not extremely bad but any fast manuvering where you say try to avoid a collition or coming just alittle too fast in a corner will probably putt you on your side. As I used to drive the coal wagon when it was bugged to hell I'm used to this and can handle it fairly well someone who doesnt notice this right away will probably flip it especailly if siad person goes over the speed limits alot.

i can confirm this behavior too, no mods, happens with all trucks and all trailers

its not a major problem

but in a curve at medium speed, the trailer starts a little shaking and very light skid, put in third view to see

little scary, seems like you'll loose the control of trailer/truck or both and finish with spin out

Little update: doesn't have to do with having extra controllers plugged in. Physically unplugged them and still happened. However what I think is causing it is that the cabin suspension reacts too heavily to horizontal movements. What I mean is that the suspension between the cabin and the chassis that normally absorbs vertical bumps (such as speedbumps or rapid steep hills) also absorbs horizontal movements, so that if you steer in one direction at higher speeds, it will first delay the movement of the cabin in that direction and then bounce back and forth left and right. This causes the seasickness motion that people complain about.
Also, not sure what Murdoch82 is talking about, this happens at speeds below the limiter of 90kmh, I dont even have the limiter disabled... Also this is not about the solved issue of trucks flipping over as in ETS1, but about a wobble left and right while turning. Also, I love vertical wobble due to the new physics when driving over speed bumps or braking hard or whatever, it's just the horizontal wobble.

The cabin wobble alittle side to side but not in any way as to make it weird, atleast not to me, maybe I drive very softly and gently so it doesnt happen to me.. ;P

But I have tested alittle, driving agressivly and it doesnt feel like its acting weird or overdoing it. Oh and driving abit agressive is better then ever now, feels really cool. Wich is kinda bad, I dont want to do it... :D I'm a good responsible driver :]

@Screech1992
I've noticed that also.
The cab sways way to much from side to side when turning.
I hope SCS fixes the physics or what ever needs fixing because
right now as is I don't like playing the game.
TNX
---Try driving and turning on #4 view(roof top view)
the game is unplayable this way and i play 99% of the time
in #4 view.
