I converted a trailer to Blender Tools today, but I noticed the main body has some strange shading. It's using the eut2.truckpaint.tsnmap shader.

Here's a video:

You have to use tga textures for tsnmap in BT. See my post here. Run your dds normal map through the converter and then swap the R and G channels. Make sure you update your tobj accordingly.

CrazyGijs little advice. Normal map alpha channel needs some love. It has old UV layout. I tottaly forgot to edit that :lol: If you paint the alpha channel white, it should be ok.

Edit: or i did fix that, cant remember now.

I always convert the .dds textures to .tga and remove the old .tobjs. :P But I already removed it xD It didn't really suit my needs :mrgreen:

EDIT: Is it possible to use a base folder next to the mod base folder as with Blender2SCS? Now I need to keep copying the same textures, for example the enviroment_reflection, glass_ex etc. and it makes a mess off it... :P

@CrazyGijs: Yes you can.

Place the base folder and all mods you work on in one main folder like this:

This way all mods will pull data from this single base folder.

Hello everyone. :)

Quick question: how to apply metallics on a truck part (roofbar, in my case)?

Thanks per advance.

Group Instances-can this be applied to building a house like the windows and deck etc. Watch one of videos on youtube about it and thinking of doing this with my shotgun house I built for Florida.
