SCS Blender Tools
Re: SCS Blender Tools
@50keda, Thank you. It turns out that I misunderstood your message. I thought that you wrote about the possibilities of BT, but in fact your message was about the blender.
Now it is clear.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
@50keda, I hadn't seen the grouping idea before, it is a solution that I'll have to try out. Currently I've been creating linked duplicates and that can get rather messy, maybe this will be a cleaner option.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
I exported the daf xf 105 after making some extra locators for interior and grills. Do not get mistakes in BT, and in game all additional locators work fine. The only problem is that only my 6x2 taglift and 6x4 chassis connect well to the trailer. The other chassis just goes through the pen. I thought maybe something was wrong, and then exported the original daf xf 105 without modifications, but that's the same.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
@Braakie: are you using advanced coupling in game? If so then make sure that "adv_cpling" collision locators are in proper parts. If not then make sure your "hook" locator is proper part

I use advanced coupling, but what do you mean with adv_cpling collision locators are in proper parts?50keda wrote:@Braakie: are you using advanced coupling in game? Re: SCS Blender Tools
Collision Locator has a part right? ...now part is visible or invisible in variants ... and which variant are you using is defined in SII file of truck chassis.
So if currently assigned part on collision locator is not visible in variant that is used for your truck chassis, then advanced collisions won't work.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
I have not changed the variants in the truck.pim and the defenition files. It looks like the truck.pic file does not appear to be properly saved
As I said, even when I do not make any changes to the truck.pim. The advanced coupling does not work on short chassis like 4x2, 6x2. Only 6x4 and 6x2 taglift work. What I noticed is that when I replace the truck.pmc (original) from the extracted base file, it all works.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
The fact you haven't changed anything doesn't mean BT made mistake on import. I would rather ask myself if data I got are valid There might still be some glitches in ConverterPIX.
If you send me PIM, PIT and PIC, which you are importing, I can tell you whether advanced coupling collisions are properly set to parts/variants or not. Also you can check it by yourself in blender, figuring out which part is assigned to advanced coupling collisions and if part is visible in proper variant, as I said in previous posts

Re: SCS Blender Tools
Unless yesterday's update fixed it, there's an issue where only one instance of identically named collision locators is converted by ConverterPIX.
