Hey 50k,

Any chance of supporting material:
eut2.truckpaint.flipflake.altuv

In the next blender tools (v1.6)?

Hello again.

I'm working with some custom sideskirt in blender, and i want them to be paintable/skinnable.

I tried to search about it around the web, but couldn't find any related to SCS blender tools just the "old way to do it" before SCS tools.

Do i use scs materials shader "truckpaint" ? And what about texture/reflection, what do i use? Could somebody please give me a simple mini-guide
to get my model ready for skinning?

Thanks in advance :)

Cheers!

@BlackBloodRum: you know you don't need flipflake in Blender Tools to be able to use it in game, right? Because flipflake flavor won't come to BT any time soon, as it's not mandatory to have it. The thing about truckpaint shader is that it is modified by paintjob. So even if you export just "eut2.truckpaint" you will be able to use flip flake paintjobs, it all depends on the configuration of paintjob.

Problem is that it's almost impossible to set it up with blender right now, to be looking the same as in game.

@galimin: just use same material setup as it's used on truck. So "eut2.truckpaint" with "/material/environment/vehicle_reflection.tobj".

I need help with a small thing,

I can see my mod in Truck shop, then when i choose it, suddenly the truck changes to a different truck, the SCS Scania R

Do somebody know why? Is it a built in "safe proof" so the game won't crash?

Question for you 50k! When I set specular in blender to .5 the value written in .mat file is not the same. What kind of conversion is done there?

I see some 1.5 stuff creeping into the modding wiki. I have a feeling next week will be a good week. :)
