I had that issue, first I disabled the mod, that didn`t fix it. I should have sold the truck, check all def files and then try it again.

I`ll try v1.7 and see if I spot the same issue.

I have the same issue with v1.7 as well. I use both E6 MANs (TGS and TGX), as soon as I pick your engine, the exterior sound disappears. I had a quick look into your mod and you are including the original sound files, but the "date changed" is different from Madsters and yours. I would suggest only modify SII files (to cover the new engines), so there is no conflict.
All the "original" engines have the exterior sound, only yours don`t.

I have just tried it with TGX Euro 6 and it works fine. Do you have the latest 1.8 version?

im using
MAN TGX Euro6 v1.9 (v1.27)

and i quess thats why this mod is bugged for me
