The right main mirror

I talked to a real life truck driver today about there right mirror.
I'm posting this for the players want to use there main mirrors other then the F2 right mirror. left mirror is fine just the right main mirror need to be refixed the mirror size is fine the way they are just the right mirror need be fixed up for stuff in it can be seen better and closer then they are. At least the big mirror.
I've talked to another real life trucker about the mirror and he said the same thing. what show's up in the right mirror should be closer then it appears

The problem with talking to real truckers about how the game should be, is that things in the game are not the same as they are in real life. In other words, real truckers drive real trucks, and the game doesn't have any.

Look at the mirrors of the truck in the game, one side at a time. No matter which one I look at, it seems like I see the same image, but depending on where it is (top mirror, bottom mirror, or F2 mirror), the image is displayed in a different aspect ratio. It seems the only real difference is one side is different from the other. So I could be wrong, as my vision is not that great, and I'm sure if I am wrong someone will correct me, but I think they are the same. So none of them are better and closer than any of the others.

The problem is your interior camera FOV. Try to use new zoom feature while looking into the right mirror. You will realize that what you will see in mirror will simply be bigger just as you are requesting

In 11 years of trucking, I've never encountered a truck where the right side flat mirror was closer than appear.

^^ This is what I believe, too. The typical setup for heavy trucks in the US is to have both flat and convex sections on the left and right mirrors. This is the best way to get an accurate view when backing and turning and still have good blind spot coverage with the convex mirror. You really need both types of mirrors to get a full impression of what's behind you.

I have been looking for someone to create a mirror mod where the upper 2/3 was the flat mirror and the bottom 1/3 was the convex mirror. I still wait.

I turned off the floating mirror, it was nice to have but realism is what I'm aiming for.

I loathe closer than they appear mirrors. Worst idea ever. I can never tell exactly how much space I have on the right side.
