Does anyone know exactly which trailers use the lift-able trailer axles? I ran a box trailer last night (48 footer?) any it wasn't one of them. I don't get that much time to actually run the roads these days so I figured I'd ask you guys versus searching through them to finally find one. Or do I have this all mixed up and it's only for mod trailers? Thanks in advance,

Re: Lift-able trailer axles
both long chemical tankers, they will have two lift axles and the long fuel tanker where the forward axle will be the lift axle
I'm on a mission to ensure the city of Pittsburgh is accurately represented in ATS.

Re: Lift-able trailer axles
Here's my suggestion for SCS: It would be perfectly reasonable to add lift axles to ALL of the tanker trailers as it is fairly common IRL.
Generally, the forward axle is liftable in a tandem or two-axle spread configuration. Here's what I've done for my personal use:

The lift axles on the acid long and chemical long quad axle trailers are correct. However, on tankers with a tri-axle configuration it is far more common for the rear axle to be liftable, NOT the forward axle as SCS have done. Here's what I did:

Those are my real life observations. Hope SCS considers my suggestions.
It would also be nice to have 'empty' trailers so that we have an actual reason to use the lift axles.

Re: Lift-able trailer axles
I'll definitely cash in on the idea of having the last axle lifted on the long fuel tanker (even found an image about it). The result will be better maneuverability due to the shorter distance between the trailer axles and the truck axles.

Yep. Out of all the tri-axle tankers with lift axles I've seen (we've got lots of them in WA) I'd easily say 4/5 of them have the rear axle lifted rather than the front.
