Error Message

#1 Post by iOutlaw » 29 Mar 2017 07:46

The game shuts down, and I get an error message which says, "We apologize for the inconvenience, but the game will quit now, because it encountered a condition that prevents further execution." "[mem] unable to get an empty memory block."

Can someone please explain why the error regarding no empty memory block?

Post your game.log to pastebin.com.
Do you have any mods ?

Thanks Loutis. I haven't had the error message / crash again, so I've not been able to get a crash log report. As to mods... I have 98, and things are stable - for now. I'll let you know if the error occurs again.

this error is due to memory fragmentation. the game needed another memory to load new object but it did not had big enough chunk free. so you either had too many small object loaded or some really big ones in memory already. it appears randomly as it depends on specific set of object in memory and timing, but it generally means you just hit limit of mod content on your computer.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

98 mods, eh? I bet there are a bunch you don't actually "use" even though they are still active, and that could be removed from the game...

Yep Axel, I'm re-thinking everything including removing many, many mods from the game and starting over. Thanks.

It's not that hard Solo_kamen. I have 196 mods in my mod folder currently, at least 190 of them are my own work so looking for updates is easy. I ask myself to make them.
