Dual tandem trailer axles in ATS

Hello Guys,

Woke up this morning and went on a short-haul inside CA, but noticed something I have not seen before... trailers are suddenly single tandem axles, as in European trucks. Did I miss the memo or is this something I fat-fingered in my setups? I am now in the process of adding one trailer mod after another to get back to what I lost. If anyone needs screenshots, will happily provide.

Must've been a mod. ATS, like ETS, has never supported tandems natively.

what are you going on about? most trailers in ATS use a single set of tandem axles. most trailers in ETS2 seem to use a tri-axle set up

Do you mean trailers have all of a sudden a single wheel/tyre set-up like euro trailers ? (in lieu of twin wheel/tyres).
By the way the wheel default def is "single" for both ATS and ETS2.
I would have rather called the ATS wheels "double".

Yes, the trailers in ATS have suddenly converted to two tires per axle, as opposed to the four tires (per axle) that are used in the U.S. I am currently deleting all trailer mods until I find one that clears the problem, but I was hoping other drivers have also seen this situation.

Keep them Dunlops rolling!!

I had this problem but on ETS2 with a converted ATS trailer mod pack because wheel def "single" is the same in both games.
In your case I suppose the "single" t_wheel path doesn't lead to the default ATS "wheel" folder but to a copy of the ETS2 "wheel" folder.

Well, I removed all trailer mods and am still having same problem... 4 tires total per trailer vs. 4 tires per axle. I think I'll just delete the entire profile and start over.
