This is kinda new to me, But where exactly do I put this parameter. My only guess so far is in the games shortcut. If i'm wrong please let me know


Seems they have updated their tools.

Right click the game in Steam, click on properties. In the window that opens, click "Set Launch Options...". A new window will open and there is where you should add the launch parameter.

Ok thanks i appreciate the help. Now if i can learn how the SCS tool fully worked. Lol.

All I got was a crash when I ran the game. It didn't convert anything.

Ok, had to remove all truck mods... Now the work of figuring out where all these PMG's go.

Apparently DDS files are not of the system. Previously, the game was all the same, but now no longer so. 0x01(8-bit alpha only) used for shadow map 2 channel. Only photoshop help

I highly advise NOT using this method if you plan to update your mods in BT at a later date.

Trailers that I converted this way do not open in Blender Tools (after using ConverterPIX) without lots of errors. Versions of the same trailers that weren't convert_dumped work fine. So do be aware this dump method may in fact dump all over your mods.

So, I guess I should just wait for the modders to update everything? What about mods that are effectively dead? (aka haven't been updated in 6 months or more)

The warning is more for modders, not people who want a clean log using someone else's work.

The mods converted this way are fully functional in game, but if you attempt to open them in Blender Tools after wards there are lots of issues.

It's perfectly safe for you to use this method on other peoples mods while you wait for them to update properly, just don't do it on your own mods if you plan to convert or edit them in BT at a later date.

IF a mod is dead, you really have three options. Stop using it, convert it with conversion dump and use it as long as you can, learn blender tools and try to keep it updated properly yourself.

I agree with you. Because Freightliner was crashed game on .pmg conversion. In ETS2 some of models was converted wrong, MADster MAN Euro6 interior model have wrong steering wheel positon and it was not aniameted after convert, so this instrument is only for modders.
