help with adding Streams

I cant seem to figure out why the Stream station I want to add wont work. any ideas?

If you had posted a link to it I might have been able to answer your question. But since you didn't, all I can do is speculate. So I would say it's either not an .mp3 stream (a lot of people try to use flash radio and that doesn't work) or if it is an .mp3 stream, you aren't putting it into the live_streams.sii file correctly. Read those instructions carefully, and remember, of the five sections of the link, only two are mandatory.

stream_data[]: "URL of mp3 live stream|Radio name|Genre|Language|Bitrate"

Here's a thought... Open the game, go into the Radio section, and click on Radio Stream and click on the button that says "Update From The Internet". That will populate the live_streams.sii file with over 200 .mp3 streams. Exit the game and open the live_streams.sii file and have a look at how the streams are set up.

If all else fails you could do what I do. Either play your music on a stereo, or load up one of those browser based flash players and let it run while you play your game. Or YouTube videos. I do all of these quite frequently.

Or you can use https://radiotrucker.com/en/stations/country-108 to create your own lists from radios which will create Playlists for you to use in Game.
