Help with account

I reinstalled everything on my computer and when I logged into the game my profile was gone. Anyone have a idea of why this happened and how to fix it ?

Can you describe how this happened?

The game doesn't have Steam cloud or any other kind of automatic backup. If you installed a fresh copy of Windows with formatting the drive on which the local files were installed, the profile is completely gone.
So you have to start again from level one, unless you made a backup of the personal profile files.

If this is true then it might be game over for me cause I had so much invested in the game that there is just no way I want to spend that much time building it all up again. Sigh........

EDIT:

Might be the end for me as I really dont want to go and spend that many hours building everything back up again. That really sucks that you lose everything if you need to reinstall stuff.
