Hello i've a new drive disk and i've save my ATS documents files where we can find the saves,the logs and the mods files etc,but i don't want to put this files in Documents because mods takes multiple GO and i want to save my C: disk, so do you have an alternative solution of where to put my American Truck Simulator files ?
I've tired to put this files in my game files but it doesn't work ...
If you have a solution it will be great because i don't want to put my mods on DOCUMENTS on C: drive disk
Thanks

Steam > Right click on game > Properties > set launch options
-homedir X:\xxx\
Click OK.
For example this is how mine is set up: -homedir E:\ATS\
Don't forget to copy your profiles and mods over before attempting to launch the game.

@CplDixon
See your other post in ETS2 forum. The same principle applies in ATS as ETS2 for changing home directory locations.

If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

Re: Put the ATS documents file in others files directory
What I did was download "Hard Link Shell" and applied the redirect to only the profile save folder.
For example, since the files for ETS2 and ATS are in the Documents folder, the profile gets a symbolic link to where I save my digital game downloads
For example:
C:\Users\<--user name-->\Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles --> E:\Game Stuff\Digital Downloads\ETS2 & ATS\ETS2 Game Save\profiles
I could have the entire game folder in my E: drive and have the symbolic link from C:\Users\<--user name-->\Documents\American Truck Simulator\ --> E:\Game Stuff\Digital Downloads\ETS2 & ATS\American Truck Simulator\ (this would save 6.47GB with ATS and 22.2GB ETS2 on a 128GB SSD)
