How much money does your driver make?

I'm trying an experiment here because I feel like this deep into the game my drivers aren't making enough money. Give me your top 5 rated drivers and how much money they make. You can include how much money you make if you want as well, the more the better. My problem is that compared to me, my drivers aren't making a lot of profit. For example:

Me: 7.5 rating, level 24
profit/distance: $43.21/mi

Sophie I.:6.7 rating
profit/distance: 9.33/mi

Cory E.: 6.7 rating
profit/distance: 6.99/mi

Sara H.: 5.8 rating
profit/distance: 8.19/mi

Petr P.: 5.8 rating
profit/distance: 8.67/mi

All of their training policies are balanced. I have 40 drivers across 8 garages, and there's no rhyme or reason to how much money they make. One trip my highest rated driver will do a short run for 800 bucks and the next she'll go across 3 states for 14 grand. This wouldn't seem so bad but her ratio of short runs to long runs is like 5/1. Shouldn't there be some coding that makes your driver go on longer runs once they level up?

As for things I've done, I disabled all my mods on my test profile and played on that for a while to see if there would be a difference, and there isn't. I'm just wondering if making money through your drivers is really supposed to take this long.

I think it's mostly random, but another factor you must consider is that you can pretty much pick any load you'd like. Your drivers sort of can't in the sense that once they get a load leaving their base to go wherever, the next run WILL take them back to base, whether they find a load or not. That is going to bring your average down depending on how often they bobtail back to base and how far they have to do it.

I think it is a balance thing.

Imagine if all your drivers would earn the same as you, you'd have too much money to spend real soon.

In my opinion both TS games are quite easy once you get your own truck and a driver or two, fines and damage no longer really matter and fuel is pretty cheap (ATS). Atleast in ETS damage is paid in full and not insured.

Think about it apart from customizing your truck and some cheap insured repair costs you don't have any real bills in this game.

I had to sack all of my drivers in ETS2, they were all level 10 and making me so much money I could buy a country! I sacked them all and sold all of the trucks which made me even more money!!!

Well,at the moment,I`m still trying to grow my business,so I have no drivers

But so far,my profit is roughlt 1.32$/mile

I edited the economy data file so as they earn more for themselves (€15/km) and actually they make me loose money
This prevents my earnings going too high too fast.
