Few more have been done:

Daycab

Ultracab

And then this one:

[ external image ]ats_12260 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
and I've done some more blender work, the smallest spoiler is basically done. Been practicing doing exhausts and then I've started the chassis and rear suspension?

You do a wonderful job of converting real paint schemes into game skins. Really amazing!

Re: RB Group Skins by Dafman
thank you very much for the positive comments gents. Looking back at my first skin compared to the ones I do now it's very different. I would like to learn enough PS so I could do some really complicated skins but I just get distracted by lovely mods:
[ external image ]ats_12323 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
I gave odd_fellows Freightliner Classic XL a go and it's a fine truck
[ external image ]ats_12279 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
and I've been doing more work on the rear suspension of the cabover I'm doing. I'm actually quite proud of this so far and getting some of the more complicated shapes (like the tubes that wrap around the leaf springs) is pretty cool.

I did have some practise and while this exhaust stack isn't finished it allowed me the chance to work on getting leaf spring bit right

Also I've done a new K200 skin, all will be released in a few weeks

Did a freightliner classic skin today

Then I spent a long time getting the rear leaf suspension totally correct and boom it's done. Now to start on all the little connectors!

I'm finding blender really tough, getting the intricate shapes in is really hard... I am getting there .... very slowly though. It's taken 10hrs of fine tuning to get this first part of the rear suspension right and it still doesn't look great I need to do what I did with my paintjobs at the start and go for less detail. I can always redraw something when it's done and in game
Fine tuned rear leaf spring, thankfully I can copy it for my 6x4 chassis

Then I started on one of the 3 different clamps... this one looks like a water slide
[ external image ]COE #1 Rear Suspension 4 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
So I binned that and started again

As I took a break from blender I went back to what I know and did this one:

[ external image ]ats_12591 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
[ external image ]ats_12584 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
And I updated two of my FLB skins for Harven's fine version, they are both on my workshop if anyone else wants them. This one is the best with it's metallic colours;

I even did the outline on the dash panels if people want to use the painted interior

Re: RB Group Skins by Dafman
Rear suspension is getting close to being finished which is exciting! Can more onto other bits of the chassis then!
First - was binned as it looks terrible:
[ external image ]COE #1 Rear Suspension 4 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
then I did this one which I am happier than my first attempt, this is the 1st complete one:
[ external image ]COE #1 Rear Suspension 5 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
here is the 2nd one, again an improvement on the 1st:
[ external image ]COE #1 Rear Suspension 7 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
and finally I did this one in only 3hrs which is good
[ external image ]COE #1 Rear Suspension 8 by Tom TruckSim, on Flickr
Slowly getting there!
