SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Yesssss. I still believe that true trucking happens in something built from 1945-1980. Think we could get a 1960s Kenworth?

Any updates on the truck?
Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
Well, I did the hood ornament a while ago.

And I did some work on the radiator shutters and pedestal turn signals yesterday. At some point, I started on a 30" Mercury sleeper.

I'll be doing open/closed variants of the shutters. Some day when SCS runs out of better things to do, maybe we'll get exterior animations so the shutters can actually open and close with the engine temperature.

Looking great, have you any ETA for launch?
EDIT: I saw the 15% on your website, and i'm hoping it's wrong

Another amazing piece of work
Re: [WIP] Peterbilt 350
TarsoMagno: I know I'd like to finish it by mid-June, but it's pretty hard to nail down an ETA with as many ongoing projects as I have. The completion percentage is pretty arbitrary. Remember the file transfer dialog from Windows XP? It's kind of like that – something to tell you it's started but not finished.
I've finally hit a point with this one where there's slightly more geometry being made than there is being scrapped (the joys of working on things started like 10 years ago) so I'm happy about that. But yeah, there's still a lot to do once you factor in accessories, variants, unwrapping, textures, the interior, etc.
Look at it this way: If I recall correctly, SCS generally puts two artists on each new truck project and together it takes them ~6 months. If I finish one this year, I'm doing pretty well.

Well, nothing since may, I guess the mod is dead. Such a shame because it looked really good.
So many abandoned projects :/
