"umad": It takes a lot of time, that's for sure. All the photos I've found had no mention of the trailer in their caption. It's just a matter of skimming through Ontario/Quebec/Maritime trucking photos of the right time period (1984-1992 seems to be the 'sweet spot') until I spot the SuperVan 90 wordmark. On the bright side, it's fairly easy to spot. It was relatively easy to recreate in Photoshop too, which is good because I still haven't found a useable picture of it. At any rate, it's a fun exercise in detective work.

JESAN: I have a little bit of reference material for Z-Vans. If I can find a complete set of photos (e.g. from an auction) and/or if I can correlate it to a model series (e.g. FG6, FB8, etc) then I might be in good enough shape to make one. ;) ...aaand literally as I was writing this, I figured out that FBZ9 covers it, on an auction page with a full set of photos. I guess I'm committed now.

Thanks a lot Smarty.
Sorry not to be able to help with pictures, I only own a few Athearn, A-line Ho scaled models of this trailer.
They're well detailed but not enough for your purpose

I finished getting all of the defs lined up and did the basic paint job UV map. I also did some more of the lighting equipment. Tomorrow I'll start on the lock rods and hinges and maybe cut in the hinge butts if I get that far.

I'm not great at making Photoshop imitate Illustrator, but if you want some less contemporary looking liveries for the Supervan 90 I made this Sell Goods one a while ago.

Hmm, that's not bad. I'll think about it. ;)

I didn't quite finish the lock bars, but I should be able to wrap that up tomorrow ...err unwrap it technically.

I have a difficult decision: I love how it looks with four lock bars, but I can save ~1000 tri's if I go with two... :?

I agreed to your thinking on the Facebook post about having 2 bars for the sliding axle version and 4 bars for the tri-axle. Also, I saw your most recent photo upload and it looks like it's coming along really nicely in-sim!

+1 for 2 bars on the tandem, 4 on the tri-axle.
