SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. @tbar - Hello, thanks for your requests.
1. rain_inside.ogg is moddable or removable from sound/environment/ folder
2. I'm assuming you mean birds and not the crickets. Unfortunately I can't program these sounds (the ones in def/ext_sound_config.sui to run with different sounds at night.
If I disable them, then you hear nothing at day which makes the place sound abandoned. Location or prefab based sounds (in unit/hookup/) are a tad louder and can be different on day/night.
3. The console commands are made by SCS Software, not me. I've only popularized s_wheel_noise because not many people know this command.
Your best bet is to change the interior_sound_attenuation for the "window rolled up" effect with a value of 0.1 - 0.2. This file is found in def/int_sound_config.sui

Drive Safely: Thank you for getting back to me. I've been playing around with the figures a bit sometimes with the opposite effect but now at least I know which figures to modify. I will play around with it some more to get it dialed in

@Drive Safely changing interior_sound_attenuation to 0.2 is perfect for me. I can still clearly hear all the traffic but now it sounds like its outside the cab.

Weird issues, after removing your mod I lost all the traffic sounds in cabin in ETS2. Truck sounds are fine, rain is fine, but I can't hear any car noise while I'm in cabin. ATS is fine. No other trucks/sounds mods. Any ideas what could be wrong?

@pigbrother - That's how it's like without the mod in ETS2. I'm guessing you've used this mod for a long time you forgot how it sounded without it.
ETS2 vanilla has more powerful cabin soundproofing than in ATS vanilla, that's why. Sound Fixes Pack makes it consistent in both games.

Jesus Christ, you're totally right, I hacked a game_data.sii, used the same values for sound level and attenuation from ATS and it worked. )

I've got a huge list of things on the to-do-list for this mod, so bear with me if your suggestions for sounds do get implemented in the next few releases.
Edit: Oh and version for 1.26 ETS2 will come out later when I come back home.
Pack updated to v17.25 with the following changes:
Replaced default AI traffic truck air horn sounds with new ones. [ATS edition]
Tweaked hot air balloon sounds.
1 new sound added to array for Harley Davidson motorcycle for Jazzycat's AI Traffic Pack.
1 new sound added to array for Honda CB600 Hornet motorcycle for Jazzycat's AI Traffic Pack.
Distant dog barking at some farm delivery points. [ATS edition]
Slightly lowered volume of water ambience at farm delivery points. [ATS edition]
Replaced 1 construction ambience track with one from AlexeyP for some delivery points. [ATS edition]
2 new horse neigh sounds added to array for idle horses. These sounds are more rare to hear than the other horse sounds.
Slight increase in volume for red signal for PrePass (still lower volume than vanilla game). [ATS edition]
Added police [siren] horn sound for UK Jaguar police car for use when you are blocking the UK police car. [ETS2 edition]

Small update (v17.26) is trialing on Steam Workshop for ETS2 1.27 and ATS 1.6. Non-Steam download to follow at the end of the week.
Also updated to v17.26 for 1.26 ETS2 (support for 1.26 is most likely to end in 2 weeks) on Steam Workshop and non-Steam download in first post.
