I pulled the Cat444 from this mod, and put it into Aradeth's VNL670. I like the sound, but not sure which sound I like better. The N14, ISX15, the CAT444, or the other CAT engine in the mod

Will this work Asphalt tires transmission sounds Kriechbaum.scs in ETS2?

Both ETS2 and ATS share same sounds like tires, bearings, etc. So yes you can use them in ETS2.

Have you tried going into service and selecting the same or different engine? That normally solves the common no-sound issue after removing the mod.

Thank you for your response! I apologize for my delayed reply. I will have to cheat myself some more money to do that (I spent it all on engines trying to diagnose/resolve this issue) but I will certainly do so. I hope this resolves the whole issue, as the engine brakes alone are just to die for.

You don't need money for that, if you select another engine and reselect your current engine immediately, then confirm (very important), it will cost you nothing

^^ Yep, for free. Usually works, but not all the time. Unfortunately, I just came to a problem when I have to convert any of my existing trucks into a TruckersMP save, I have to purchase a new truck because the sim still looks for the custom sounds in the definitions. That was one exception, not sure for everyone else. I made the mistake of using the same singleplayer profile for multiplayer, and I don't want to lose my progress.

That never worked out for me. I always had to repurchase the truck after removing Kriechbaum's sounds.

I wonder why it is like that, because dropping in and out sound mods in ETS2 never lead to such problems for me...

Hi, i will delay it a bit, because the new beta is starting soon. And i want to be sure there's nothing different on the new patch for the sounds. I will not wait until the end of the beta, anyway the sound will be released next week.
