I think this is due to the fact that they used a prefab for the entire bridge.

Never really put much thought into it, it's kinda common for lane markings to fade off of bridges first here anyway.

That bridge over the canyon in front of the Hoover Dam is around 10 years old, so it shouldn't look worn out, but I guess AzDoT and NvDoT haven't been doing their job of repainting the stripes.

Hm, well the real thing has markings. Cool markings, in fact. They have black lines on either side so that they're visible against the concrete surface.
