Non-Synchronized Transmission Bug

#1 Post by jdkelley93 » 02 Mar 2017 18:11

I have `uset g_hshifter_synchronized` set to "0" in my config.cfg to turn off automatic transmission synchronization for realism. I noticed that I can no longer slowly roll off the clutch in 1st or LL (depending on transmission) and the truck take off. In real life, even under a 40,000 lb load, a truck will take off without any throttle application. If I have `uset g_hshifter_synchronized` set to "1" then I can just roll off the clutch and the truck will take off. I'm not sure whether this is intended or just over looked. Seems like a bug to me.

Settings:
Manual H-Shifter
18 Speed Eaton Fuller Transmission layout
Quick Splitting is set to clutch or gas

Truck:
Kenworth T680
Eaton Fuller 18 speed w/o retarder

Game:
64-Bit Direct X
Software dev by day, virtual trucker by night

Could you provide game log?

I tried on a 389 with same 18 speeds gearbox and config as you and have no problems here.
