Road 95 (to Ehrenberg) - 15 mph speed limit [37825]
Road 95 (to Ehrenberg) - 15 mph speed limit [37825]
Hi,
I was driving on road 95 to Ehrenberg and there was 15 mph speed limit for very long distance (which I think is a bug), although the road is suitable for at least 55 mph.
Screenshot of my position (slow section of the road):

Thank you for solving it.

heh
Typo in map code 15 should be 55

If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

Not a typo, they just forgot to put the increased speed sign at the other side of the Rail Road crossing. 15mph is correct for the crossing itself.
In fact most people don't realise but in the US trucks should actually stop with hazards on and double check nothing is coming before crossing a Rail Road.

I hope it will be updated soon, I was just pulling scraper at 15 mph from railroad crossing all the way until I-10. It is a torture
Have a mature suggestion to improve American Truck Simulator? Fahgettaboudit!

@ Moh1336,
You only need to stop for a railroad crossing if you are carrying a placarded load of hazardous materials, any amount of chlorine or passengers. Everything else is free to cross without stopping though the restriction of not shifting until the tractor and trailer are completely across still applies.

Thanks for clearing that up, I had assumed as much. Only recently learned about not shifting until being across (about to start trucking school). Don't think I need to worry in-game though with the auto. Which makes me wonder... If you're driving an auto truck IRL surely that doesn't apply?Elwenil wrote: ↑08 Jun 2017 04:43 @ Moh1336,

If it's an Eaton auto-shift, you should be able to hold a gear through the crossing in manual mode. I don't know about heavy automatics.
