This happened today for both profiles I have, including my new profile with no mods.
With mods:

Without mods:

The mods I have are up to date (with older ones disabled, even tried disabling some with no success as none of the mods are broken) yet this is also happening to my second profile that no mods at all. Is it me, or anyone else having this kind of issue? If its me, do I have to remove my disabled mods from my mod folder?

Tested it on both a moded and clean profile and I'm unable to reproduce it.
Can you paste your game.log after playing the game on a clean, non-moded profile?

The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

What am I missing about strange truck icons... am I going blind
I have a test profile, with no mods,( Mods still in folder) but, after loading it, then closing down, I see that that reading the gamelog.txt that the game still reads what's in the mod folder even if they are not loaded for that profile.

Ironically the issue is what your emoticon is wearing. Green glass.
Clearly the OP's trucks have been to specsavers to get ultra-clear lenses added.
edit: The game has to read the mods on load or it won't be able to put them in the mod manager.

Here's the game log:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LrI ... sp=sharing
If you find something fishy, please let me know. Thanks.
EDIT: Found out that both the Mack Superliner and the Iveco 190-30 are outdated and are incompatible to the update, hence why the truck icons look strange. Love the two trucks, hate the way they're outdated. So much potential these two have as well. Oh well.
On second thought, it seems that even with outdated mods removed, the bug still emerges. If the previous user mentioned that both of his profiles are clean, why is mine having issues? And it can't be mod conflicts either.

Re: Strange truck icons bug
Seems I found a fix on this; I'd have to delete disabled, outdated mods from my folder because even if they're disabled from the Mod Manager, it'll still eventually cause bugs and glitches to emerge in-game.
Re: Strange truck icons bug
SCS will tell you that when mods are disabled they take no part in the game.
For some inexplicable (by me or others) reason, mods included in a save game continue to affect the game, even though disabled, until the mod is removed from the mod folder.
Because I use the "-force_mods" switch in launch options, Mod Manager is disabled for me. Maybe this is why I don't see some of the issues folks are reporting here.

If you suck at playing the trumpet, that's probably why.

Re: Strange truck icons bug [MOD]
Yeah, just found out and deleted them from mod folders. I learned that the hard way that leaving disabled mods that are deemed outdated was the result of this. Never leave disabled mods unattended for too long from each update in the mod folder!
