From what I have seen, most countries in the game seems to have correct/realistic speed limits - at least on motorways?
But this does not seem to be the case with Norway? Looks like most norwegian motorways have a 80 or 90 km/h speed limit sign in ETS2, but shouldn't there actually be 100 or 110 signs on many of these roads? For instance the motorway between Oslo and the swedish border?

Not exactly a «bug» I guess, so no need for a game log, but it seems to apply to both older versions of the game and the 1.27 open beta.
Wrong speed limit signs in Norway
Re: Wrong speed limit signs in Norway
The increase to 110 in Norway came after the DLC had been released.
But yes, on E6 the limit is 110 from border to exit 5 near Sarpsborg(19km). Then 100 until a bit past exit 9(14km).
Speed is back to 110 for a while(17km) until the bend south of exit 13 near Moss where it again drops to 100(4.5km).
From exit 14 to 18 it is 110 only during the summer(24km). It drops to 100 on 1. November and is back to 110 on the first Monday after Easter.
The speed drops further to 90 at exit 18 and continues to exit 27 at Klemetsrud(22km), with the exception of the stretch of 80 where E18 and E6 meet near Tusenfryd amusement park.
For E18 west of Oslo increases to 90 once you get west of E16 exit at Sandvika. Eastbound it drops to 80 already at exit 18.
It increases to 100 west of exit 20 near Asker.
At exit 25 in Drammen it drops to 90 for a bit. Even down to 80 on the northbound south of this exit.
South of this it is 100 for 5.5km until around 2km south of exit 27 where it is again 110 for a while. This lasts until exit 29.
Between exits 29 and 32 it is 100. This due to the tunnels in the area not being constructed for higher speeds.
The rest of the motorway stretches to exit 48 east of Porsgrunn have 110.
I do suspect the limit will be 100 near Larvik once the new motorway there is finished.
On E18 further south there are two stretches of 90km.
One 25km long between Kragerø and Risør. And one 13km between Grimstad and Arendal.
Then you got the motorway between Grimstad and Kristiansand. There is a about 30km of 100 between exit 81 and 87.
Long post this but I like being thorough.
When you factor in the scale of the map and the distances I've added it will be hard to get this very accurate.
20km real is only 1km in game.
These limits are not very useful to a trucker anyway as they are limited to 80 regardless.

Re: Wrong speed limit signs in Norway
Not really. The maximum speed limit was set from 100 to 110 in 2014. Scandinavia was released in 2015 i think. However, the speed limit on E6 between the Swedish border and Oslo is 80 or 90 in ETS2. Not 100 (the old speed limit) or 110 (the new (but still old) speed limit).Gazer75 wrote:The increase to 110 in Norway came after the DLC had been released.
Re: Wrong speed limit signs in Norway
You are absolutely correct. My mistake Not sure why i was thinking 2015 for the change.
Re: Wrong speed limit signs in Norway
Seems like the problem is still there in the newest beta version?
It also affects the gameplay in a negative way in my opinion, as it makes the AI cars drive very slow on the motorways. I think it looks and feels unrealistic.
