Different is obviously, i guess... Then, see the changelog of version 1.26 on eurotrucksimulator2. com:
Scania R: Fixed typo in def file
Scania R, Sreamline: Fixed steering wheel misalignment
Scania R: Fixed axle position
Scania R: Fixed flares position
Scania R: Fixed shadow
Scania R: Fixed side flares
Scania R: Fixed texture

Now you understand what i mean? My point is - absolutely similar problem, but on Scania it's worthy to be fixed, and what about Volvo?

sga0617 wrote:Only one thing. The position of the steering wheel in the photos you posted, is the position used for exit from the truck, not the driving position. When you get in the truck, you have to place the seat in an ergonomical position and then, you have to place the steering wheel in the driving position, where the steering wheel gets more vertical and near the to you.

In the next video, you could see the different steering wheel positions from the minute 1:45

I understand, what You mean, but pictures, which i'd added are demonstrate wide range of steering wheel adjustments on Volvo trucks IRL. From absolutely vertical position like on small passenger car and to the, so called, "bus" position, when steering wheel are low and horizontal (like on 2-nd picture, this is no "off-duty" position, off-duty position on the 3-rd picture, on 2-nd picture is a "on-duty" position, if you'll look on dashboard - you'll see, that truck is drive by).

I like "bus" position, and allmost all trucks in the game do it possible - Daf XF106, Iveco New Stralis Hi-Way, Mercedes New Actros, Renault Premium and,of cource, a favorite of devs - Scania after 1.26 update, when they fixed misaligment and did "bus" position possible.

In community a lot of Autocad specialists, i think the position on the video from sga0617, beetween 2.13-2.15 minute, in the game should look like this:

7 mounts ago, one good guy tried to attract the attention of developers in a SCS blog to this problem, but was ignored. Here it is: http://blog.scssoft.com/2016/08/ets2-12 ... 2862258344

Please correct this SCS is wrong!
And if they want to do something linked to the Simulator will have to name correctly.
This is a great feature and waited so long for it, but you are doing wrong.
Do not do something just to do it, have more attention. I know you are being charged to all mmento, but if they want to do something to take more attention, I suggest you take a real truck and well study what they will do. In ETS2 it was ridiculous!

After the update 1.25, when the adjustment of the steering wheels positions were added, on all G7 truck brands it's work perfect, at least on the new trucks. Problem was only for the Volvo and Scania. The problem on the Scania was fixed in the update 1.26, but about the Volvo or forgot or do not want to? That was my question/bug report stretching for 13 posts...

Volvo FH series steering wheel problem!

#19 Post by yyyssqq » 30 Mar 2017 00:04

SCS staff, hello, I am a loyal ETS2 playe, is also a loyal fan of Volvo, there is a problem I hesitated for a long time, I need to give you feedback! On the Volvo FH series of steering wheel position adjustment can change it again, the steering wheel position is too unrealistic, if the steering wheel up to adjust the position to change some, so perfect.

The FH series steering wheel position in the game is like this:

In reality the FH series steering wheel position is like this

I hope you can modify the location of the steering wheel, thank you! PS:My English is not good, please understand.
