Automatic transmission
Automatic transmission
HI im using G27 with the automatic transmission mode and tested economic and normal adaptive modes......on second gear with my MAN atleast (stock MAN) A2 gear it goes all the way up tp 2500rpm before switching gear to higher at full throttle...A1 and A3 switches around 1900-2000, dont think it should go that high.

Re: Automatic transmission
yes if you have your automatic transmission on "adaptive" it changes gear depending on how much throttle you give, so when you floor the pedal (or keyboard key) you give it all the power it have and thats why it goes so high before changing (known as kick-down), you can control this is you use pedals then dont floor the pedal, or you can change from adaptive to no adaptive in the options, if you do that it changes at 1500rpm'ish whatever you do with the pedal.

Re: Automatic transmission
thats not what i meant....i do floor it and then the A1 and A3 gear goes to about 2000 rpm before changing....but the A2 goes all the way to 2500 rpm....thats too high...it should remain at the 2000 rpm range not 2500 rpm....and im talking about the allison 6 gear automatic transmission. understand now?
