Re: SCS Blog discussion
not sure if the asphalt miller is supposed to be called 'Writigen'... likely a typo... or maybe the equivalent to Majestic and Valiant?
Re: SCS Blog discussion
SiSL maybe it was because he had the heavy haul 8x4 chassis which was no match for the trailer.
If it is stupid but it works, it isn't stupid.
Re: SCS Blog discussion
Which chasis to match to Heavy Haul trailer mate? 4x2?

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Something that was brought up in that stream, and also something I was wondering myself was whether or not it would be possible to lock the wheels straight while reversing (trailers in farm sim do that, and it's helpful), and it's not, however that's something that should be available, if you ask me. I'm also curious as to if the game would block you from heavy trailers with long wheelbase 6x4 trucks, as they seem to carry alot of heavy things up north.

The only lock mention so far is to avoid you to haul 2t cargoes with 8x4 chassis.
Other locks we have to wait, but I doubt it will happen since 6x4 are used a lot for that jobs IRL

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Like anything is preventing people to deliver 2t cargoes with modded 8×4 or even 10×6 3000 hp trucks…

Re: SCS Blog discussion
IMO all review videos should be required to use default game settings on a clean profile. Many "reviewers" out there do it on their normal profiles with god knows what mods enabled.
I've had a 62t (from hell) trailer for 18 months or more, and there is nothing fast or easy about it. The truck struggles like mad, 80kph is a challenge 90 is pretty much out of the question unless on a downhill at which point hold on because engine brake, retarder, and foot brake often aren't enough to keep your speed steady. That said I have no idea what the weights of the DLC cargo are, if they are lighter they obviously won't struggle as much and I was using 6x4 SCS truck not a mod with 8x or more axles.
I refuse to watch any videos or streams because I like to see it for myself, not some clown who can't drive and just annoys me watching the videos.

SCS confirmed beacons for ATS on ATS Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/americantrucks ... =3&theater
As you can see on this awesome screenshot - yes, there will be beacons for the upcoming content with heavy cargoes and multi-pivot trailers....
Stay tuned our dear fellow truckers...
