We need such high-quality prefabs also for upcoming ETS DLC's.

Is it just me or does that blog post drop a hint as to how they plan to deal with future DLCs where the player doesn't own other connecting DLCs?
The Intermodal Train Depot is a typical US transport hub for loading and unloading of entire trailers. These are then further transported by rail to save both fuel costs and fuel emissions to another node in the transportation network, before they reach their final destination by road again.
While they could just be telling a story while showing off the prefabs, I do question the reasoning for that paragraph. :P

Beacons better be coming or someone needs to tell Michal off for using mods in beta builds ;)

Something tells me that the ETS2 DLC will release this week or early next week since the embargo is lifted and these streamers are allowed to showcase the DLC.
If it is stupid but it works, it isn't stupid.

Intermodal makes sense go to train depot in Kanass City or Chicago to make delivery to Minneapolis or Indianapolis. Coast to Coast is slowly becoming obsolete as Intermodel is cheaper and more cost effective. Missing state DLC could be slowed this way or by air freight also.

I disagree because we haven't even had the open beta for 1.28 yet.

For DLC releases public betas are a iffy stat to look at since you dont know if the DLC is going to be released along side a game update or not.

While it is true that DLCs generally come within a week of leaving Open Beta, it doesn't always work out that way. For all we know the DLC was planned to be released sooner but was delayed for some reason. Only SCS knows why there was such a huge gap. Maybe Max will wander in and tell us, then again maybe he will raise an eyebrow and wander off. It's a mystery.

Embargo generally gets lifted the same week as the intended release, so either way it's safe to say the DLC is for 1.27 not 1.28.
