Fellas, no news on multiple pivot points has been published for ETS2

As I mentioned on the blog post; yes the trailer clearly has a dolly, but in all the screenshots the trailer is also perfectly straight.

I doubt that devs would be so mind-bogglingly stupid to do them big trailers without multiple pivot points. But whatever, lets feed this conspiracy

For analogy's sake: In the corresponding ETS2 post there are no dollies in the screenshots, but in the first shot the trailer's front axle is clearly turned into the curve.

Three possibilities for ATS:
1) Same construction as in many mods, entirely rigid trailers / trailer combos. Totally unlikely, what do you think? That would look so wrong.

2) All front axles turn into the curve, all rear axles are mirrored. Possible, but not realistic at all. Plus, that would require drawbar steering, and thus a second pivot point, so SCS could just go the full way to unlimited pivot points, why wouldn't they.

3) All pivot points present where they are in the original, and the screenshots just don't give it away - on purpose or not... Lots of room for speculation, but the most likely thing in my opinion. Perhaps they're just not done with the tuning so they're not showing it yet.

And of course the usual 'if it's in one game, it's likely to come to the other one too'. Also remember that SCS like to put content into DLC but technology into the base games.

@Bandit & The Snowman I sure hope number one is wrong. Kind of concerned (but not that much) since all of the screenshots show the trailer straight. :?
If there were/are multiple pivot points... We can finally get those double trailer mods to work properly :D

Anyhow, looks like SCS is trying to replicate the Fontaine Magnitude trailers 8-)

Yeah, even though I didn't know for sure what it would be, sometimes people see a blue name and think "He must know" so I never really feel comfortable guessing any more. Grrrr. /betatesterproblems.
Nooteboom trailers? Did I miss a picture? Or were you just reffering to the European style heavy load trailers?

You missed nothing I just couldn't remember the name of the US brands.

The trailer is a 9 Axle with transformer deck with Steerable Dolly (60ton) I know that Guy Turner Inc uses them, I have no idea what the brand is though. Could be Trail King?

As xDope said, it appears SCS were trying to replicate a model by Fontaine. Actually, looking closer at the last image on the SCS blog, the mudflap has a logo very similar (though not exactly the same) as Fontaine's logo.
