Sorry for digging this thread, but I require assistance in resetting my password too.

My original account is : mogan23

And unlike what the FAQ says, there is no password rest option.

Thank you mod/admin

I also have this issue. My original account is T6A5, but I did not remember to write down my password when I created it, and after I updated Mozilla Firefox, I can no longer access my account (since the saved passwords got cleared). If a mod could help me out with this issue, that would be highly appreciated, thanks.

The worst part is, it appears I don't have permissions to PM anyone about this issue. If anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

I set Google to remember (some of) my passwords, in Chrome. Good part is I can even see them, in settings, and they're backup up in my account.

It's actually ATROCIOUS that there is no automatic password recovery feature. The heck is this, 1993?

I'll just post here since I don't want to start another thread.
Same issue, well kinda. I remember my password, because I'm more than sure I have not changed it, but I can't log in on my main account. So either I had that terrible luck and got hacked... again, or for some reason my password was changed without my knowledge.
Anyways, a pasword reset button would be usefull.
And in case you still don't remember me - GT-Mike here :P

KeePassX user here :-).

My DB is both on a LUKS encrypted usb stick and in my Mega sync account.

Of course there's a keyfile and password in use, so you need the keyfile which is not in cloud or on the USB stick to get the DB (it's somewhere special and safe).

I prefer it this way, I have complete control of my PW DB that contains over 500 different passwords :-)

Now if I could just remember the password I set on the database...

It's not automatic, and you wouldn't want it to be anyway. But passwords can be reset by users UNLESS that function has been turned off by a Forum Administrator. And that appears to be the case. Maybe they figured it's easier to deal with it manually for those people who really need it, rather than fix problems caused by people playing around. I say that because when I was running the PC Pitstop forum we used Invision Power Board (which is vastly better than PHPBB by a long shot), at least 60% of password reset problems were caused by people playing around with things they did not need to be messing with.
