[REL] ProMods v2.68
Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.
Posting in the Mods forum (ATS and ETS2) is restricted to sharing free-to-the-public mods and providing support for mods. For more details, please check the Forum Rules.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.16
Go to the Promods forum and read the reason. They use adfly is because it's one of the few sites that will tolerate the amount of traffic Promods generates when they release a new update.thfswe wrote:@thfswe
You miss the point here, small fee or not ...still the fact is that not all people can afford it, so they are stuck with the slow download, and you still use one of the most known sites for ad and spyware, and promods dont seems to have any problems by spreading that around the globe..........
Still promods don´t explain why you are using adfly one of the most known sites for adware and spyware...
You are getting this map for free and yet you complain. It is not their problem you can't afford $1.00 to get high speed download. If they had to cover the cost of all that they would not be able to afford to distribute the map, period, so you're lucky to get it at all.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.16
People who can't afford to spend even one single dollar, and yet manage to complain about it in internet, should really get their priorities straight. Or ask their parents for more allowance. More likely they just can't use any of the payment methods, or don't want to spend money - either way, complaining about it makes no sense when there's perfectly legit free alternative.
In FAQ of Payloadz.com is stated that "Payment options include PayPal, Google Wallet and 2Checkout." I'm curious which countries aren't supported by any of these?

Is "Promods 2.16 File Test" necessary or what is it good for?
If something is not round, it has then edges or it is broken.

Re: [REL] ProMods v2.16
@Evil_Jason It's pretty self explanatory. It's purpose is to test the integrity of the files you download.
If one of the files is corrupted (incomplete, etc) it will warn you.
I recommend its usage, especially if a file download failed and you had to restart it.
