SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Dear Grimes,
As a big fan of your mods, thanks again. I have recently downloaded the latest versions of all your seasons mods. Fantastic job as always.
I would also take this opportunity to give feedback about a problem I encountered while using Mild Winter mod. I'm using Promods+Rusmap+Balkans trio (I'm about to add Southern Region to that, it's unpacking as I'm writing this). Around Kirkenes, the game seems to mix up daylight hours. It's dusk at 12:00, city lights turn on around 14:30. Frosty Winter runs fine, so I'm guessing this issue (which, I guess, that occurs when a region is left out of climate data) is Mild Winter specific.
Thanks again.

Re: Mild Winter Weather Mod v2.5 [Upd: 20 Jan 2017]
EgoMaster,
If you have studied seasons, you would know that during the winter, the sun is shining directly on the Southern Hemisphere. Europe is situated at the Northern Hemisphere; therefore if you went further north, you will have longer nights. It is completely normal that the sun will rise around 10:00 then fall around 14:00 (4 hours daytime, 20 hours nighttime) at that town. The opposite happens during the summer as the sun will be shining directly on the Northern Hemisphere; during the spring and autumn, both seasons will have equal daytime and nighttime on Earth because the sun is directly shining on the Equator.

Boeing73FLY,
Not that I don't appreciate the science lesson but I live in a part of the world where we witness all four seasons. So, not only did I study them, I experience them on a regular basis. However;
1. If this works as intended, then Frosty Winter, which features even less daylight hours doesn't.
2. You can't set regional sunrise/sunset hours in ETS2 as far as I know. If the sun sets in 17:30 in Torino with the mod enabled, that should be the case in Kirkenes.
3. Same thing happens if you use grimes' mods with unsupported mods (like Russian Open Spaces, Mario Map etc.)
So I'm pretty sure there's something wrong.

Re: Mild Winter Weather Mod v2.5 [Upd: 20 Jan 2017]
EgoMaster - Sunrise and sunset times are different in the game dependent on geographical location and time of the year, so for example on the default map sunset/sunrise times for Torino in the south and Stockholm in the north will be different, this is hard coded into the game, SCS implemented this system in 1.17.
I did notice that in Mild Winter the arctic climate elevation definitions are slightly out of sync with the others but Kirkenes doesn't actually use these definitions, I think they are only used in eastern Iceland, but anyway I will remedy that in the next update.
Frosty and Mild Winter should have pretty much the same sunset/sunrise times but they are very different weather mods in terms of lighting and of course graphically Frosty is much brighter.
Here are the sunset and sunrise times for Kirkenes for January, you'll notice that for today sunrise is at 8.56 and sunset is at 13.42.

Dear Grimes,
I just wanted to give feedback for a possible glitch. If you say that's normal, then it is. Maybe my experience with Russian Open Spaces threw me off course. Once again, thanks for these wonderful mods.
