@Highflyernl - cargo.krone5 is definitely not SCS default cargo. It is added by some mod. And as I discovered, every cargo over 25t is treated as heavy, and will need heavy tractor setup.
I'm working on mod compatibility update. It should be available soon :)

For some reasons i´m not able to use the tool. Everytime i try to load a savegame, i got the message: "File was not encrypted probarly." or in german: "Datei war nicht korrekt dekodiert."
Any hints to get it work?

@Paulebaer1979 - yes, readme file is your answer. You did not change save format.

in game config.cfg file in ETS folder, you have line: uset g_save_format "2" - it must be set to 2 - probably you have 0 or 1 there. Then, you have to load save, and save it again. Then you will be able to use it.

My bad. RTFM is so often the right solution.
Now it works. Thanks.

I lowered the trailer weight to 24t for now and it works great:) Thanks for your explanation and your great work!

I have run into a problem. I have downloaded this mod and I have been reading the read me that can with it. (Yes, I know that may seem strange :o but I guess I am a strange person  ) Anyway, it states that this program requires "Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 Libraries" to work properly. The problem is that as far as I can tell, Microsoft no longer offers that program. So I am wondering if your program will work with one of the newer versions that Microsoft still offers or if someone knows where I can still get a copy of "Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 Libraries"?

Thank You,
Robert

Well, I gave it a try to see if it would work and it does. Made one run and just got loaded with my second job. We will see how it goes. Love the program so far. Thank you for your efforts. I am curious if you could set up an "aliases" for company names and cargo names like Tedit has. Would make it easier for me to find the company I am looking for since I an using the ProMods Company Pack. The cargo names part would be nice also given some of the names some of the authors chose for their mods.

Thank You,
Robert

Been running this program for several jobs and am loving it. I do have a couple of questions though:
1st: How does the program set the distance of a job? I have made 3 runs from Mannheim to Aberdeen and back(2376 Km with ferry) but your program keeps saying the shortest route is 6391 Km.
2nd: Is there a way to set the urgency of a load? I keep getting "normal" deliveries and would like to get a "rush" or "urgent" ever once in a while. :D

Thank you,
Robert

In newer windows (I guess win8 and win10) older Visual C++ are build in into the system. That is why they are available, and aplication work, even you don't have them installed (because they are there)

Some people are asking about Own (translated) names of cargoes and companies. I need to rethink algoritms of the program, to implement that. Be patient, this will probably appear in new version. Now, probably on Monday, there will be heavy cargo compatibility update, that allows you to use all the mods with cargoes heavier than 24t.

For your questions:
1. Distances are ready from original job market. Speditor is reading save game, and checking distances. It saves them into the database for later use. So, it learns over time. When you have two city connection in DB, the distance is shown, if don't, it left empty (however it must be entered, so in game it will be based on 3000km distance then). In my speditor, it shows 913km and 990 km (value in brackets are ferry)

you can have a bit different values, depends on mods, and what connection speditor found first. If you take another route (for example different ferry), then you can have different route length.
2. There is no posibility to set urgency. This is mainly because Speditor not always know distance, without knowing distance (it is set to 3000 km then) it does not acctually have sense to set urgency. You can have 200km route, distance is set to 3000 (because it is uknown by speditor at that time), so it does not matter if it urgent or not - you still have to much time :)

@ xyzan,
I understand about the program learning as I go, but I had driven the same round trip route 3 times with the same results. I am now on a trip up to Iceland and your program has it recorded as follows:

In the "manifest.txt"
Added Cargo:
1. fish_fing_j1 From: akranes(aria_nordic) To: mannheim(bauhaus) 1826km
Total: 1826 km

In the"error.log"
5/27/2017 1:37:44 PM: prepare start
5/27/2017 1:37:45 PM: Having total of 55953 routes in DataBase
5/27/2017 1:37:47 PM: Added 294 routes to DB
5/27/2017 1:37:47 PM: Having total of 56247 routes in DataBase
5/27/2017 1:37:47 PM: updating existing records adding ferries start
5/27/2017 1:37:47 PM: Having total of 56247 routes in DataBase
5/27/2017 1:37:47 PM: prepare stop
5/27/2017 1:38:51 PM: updating existing records adding ferries end
5/27/2017 1:38:51 PM: Added: 833 ferry connections
5/27/2017 1:39:14 PM: cargo: cargo.fish_fing_j1
company_truck: man_4x2_a
variant: 0
target: "bauhaus.mannheim"
expiration_time: 32101
urgency: 0
shortest_distance_km: 12782
ferry_time: 0
ferry_price: 0

I am just confused by the different distances. The manifest seems to have it right but, as far as I can tell, the program is paying out according to the error.log and it seems to be way off the mark. Am I missing something or not doing something right?
My "config.cfg" looks like this:
C:\Users\smith121363\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\736D697468313231333633\save\1
job pickup time:72
propose randoms:1
Language:0
DB Mode:normal
no_exclude(not used):0
loop:0
cargo File only:0
Company Mode(not used):0:trameri
Version: 1,8
Time Multiplier: 1,0

Love the program, just want a more realistic payout.

Thank you,
Robert

1. fish_fing_j1 From: akranes(aria_nordic) To: mannheim(bauhaus) 1826km

shortest_distance_km: 12782

Time Multiplier: 1,0

those 3 lines does not have any sense to me... Are you sure, you did not set Time Multiplier to 7? (or higher value?)
Shortest distance, that is written is a base to your payment and time of travel. Time multiplier, takes value from DB (1826km) and multiply it by the value. Here, if you look: 1826 x 7 = 12782 Exact number. So, I suppose you have either set Time multiplier different, either locale setting of your windows screw something up (dot instead of comma somewhere in data, cannot trace that, acctually)

Second thing, version 1.8, which you are using, is quite old... 1.84 was the version without errors for ETS 1.27. As far as I remember, 1.8 could corrupt your save game in some cases... Current version is 1.9

And, to be honest, forget about realistic earnings in ETS... ;) And, I think it is not possible to get realistic earning in Speditor - as it gives you just estimates of routes, as real route lenght in game usually vary +/- 10% which is quite hight, in my opinion.

I was wondering about the "version 1,8" that is written in the config.cfg. What is really weird is that I downloaded your program on 4/26/2017 @ 4:28 PM CST (Texas) from the first page of this thread. The link and the file I downloaded said it is version 1.9 . As a matter of fact the downloaded file is named: Virtual_Speditor1_9.rar . The Application says it was created on 4/15/2017 @ 3:29 PM.
As far as the config.cfg, I have not change anything in it yet. I like to make sure everything is working right before I start changing setting. The cargo I posted above is the first I have created before I was in the town the load is being created in.

I am going to download the 1.9 version again and see if I get the same config.cfg.

Thank you,
Robert

Well, I downloaded version 1.9 again from this link : https://www.adrive.com/public/Dscczy/Vi ... tor1_9.rar and I got the same config.cfg. with "version 1,8" wrote in it. I am not sure what is going on or what to do about it. I will change the 1,8 to 1,9 (or should it be 1.9? ) and see if that makes a difference.

Thank you,
Robert

Ok, I changed the 1,8 to 1.9 and the 1,0 to 1.0 and now I am getting the right distance in both text files. That seems to have solved my problem. I guess your program don't like commas, period !!

Thank you,
Robert

I have made a dozen round trips using your program today. It is working wonderfully now after I removed the commas and added decimal points to the config. I am now wondering if there is a way to exchange the company trucks from a Man to a Volvo for the "quick jobs" or are these set by the game?

Any way, loving your program. Thank you for all your hard work and effort.
Robert
