Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Would it be possible to include slots for Signs on your Truck mod, or am I asking too much? :lol: :lol:

@galimim: It was to much AND that wasn't an answer to my question! :P ;) ;) ;)
I have already noticed that mod and it looks really good.
I will have a look at it. (perhaps for small signs at the front)

For "heavy signs" i haven't decided, how to realize them. (mountable on slots or as extra accessory)
Because of the plans, to offer different sizes, shapes, positions and mounting techniques for several signs (like Convoi Exceptionnel,SAERTRANSPORT,Schwertransport, and others)

I see. I am mentioning it because it is a good mod and maybe you can make use of it, so you don't have to do everything from scratch.

Hi there :)

First of all...GREAT WORK! I love Actros, so i love BigStars too :)

I'd love to use one of the BigStars as my Maintruck, because for me its not just a "Heavy Truck", but for me something important is missing. Maybe you can help me "fixing" it?

I'd love to use more powerful engines and transmissions. I already downloaded many of the known mods out there and they are good and working in my other trucks, but i cant choose them when buying a BigStar.

Is there any way to use other engine and transmission?

I have created a basic set of 6 flashers, based on smalllights by scs.

Very early look at the first heavy sign. - CONVOI EXCEPTIONNEL / 1900x250mm / Position 1
Have to create proper textures and bend that sign into the shape of the truck.

@Franz Meersdonk: Sorry, at this point, there is no easy answer.
Mainly the defs have to "use" "example.mercedes.actros2014.wtd.engine" or "example.mercedes.arocs.wtd.engine" instead of "example.mercedes.actros2014.engine".
Same goes for transmissions.
Furthermore, you have to add defs for badges of Big Stars (suitable for the added engines).
It also depends on the version, the mod is based on. (defaults-suitable rules or newer override rule)

Steam version not available yet.
If you use steam and want 1.4.2 anyway, you can download the temporary update package 1.4.1 to .1.4.2: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8tAq ... 2doX0JFcVE
Activate it in the game with higher priority than Big Stars.
After Big Stars has been updated on steam, you can just deactivate and delete the temporary package.
