SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

I think I found the issue. SCS replacement does not have schwarzmüller definitions, does not exactly replace companies...

Since everybody does not have Schwarzmüller packs , I didn't place it to SCS Replacement pack not to cause problems.

Basically what you see as "whites" are real SCS models, mod not touching them, mod has seperate models for own / custom skins.

I might add full replacement to Schwarzmüllers in Schwarzmüller pack...

On the Jazzy's / Promods trailers difference, I made it so that my models has different set of cargo under same names (Models of SCS still there, not overwritten). Models are different from SCS. However, unlike Jazzy's, there is only few models to load into memory even though they are equivalent. So that I can add 1700 different skins on same model and it does not even take place in memory other than 5-6 models thus saving users performance. But if I made it on Jazzy's/Prmods trailers "old" way, each skin kinda of loads its own 3d model in traffic even though it is same looking model. Thus always reading from disk.. Now only thing read is "skin" not the model, because it is already in cache.

Oh, yeah, and the trailer browser doesn't show skins from custom_paint_job/<name>_paint_job (which it should)

Exactly for that reason above. May be SCS could add another set to show custom paintjobs in future.

Currently there is 400+ skins on the pack, all available in the traffic, all available for custom setups from Wizard. Yet, since company numbers are limited, and I don't want to bork people's performance (and they are not seperate models) they are not shown in trailer browser. Because they are not "Looks" or "Variants" anymore.

I could add meaningless company names to show them there, but again, that's loading all into browser at once.

Say, could you take a wild guess and figure out what's causing this for everyone who has Jazzy's most recent Truck Traffic pack, v2.5, and doesn't happen on v2.4? Mentioned here

As for the company skins, its fine how it is for now.

Although, there is the another (older) way, defining a set of skins by cargo.

@ SiSL. Does this mod also add new cargoes to haul or did I miss understand your statement above?

Yeah I could, if those were also using my mod :lol: Replied here

Error says definition tries to assign 2 rear axles to AI trucks that only has 1 rear axles in the model. Not a game breaking or crashing issue but mod conflict warning.

Anyway, it is probably about my SCS replacement mod also replace definitions (not models) of 6x4's & 6x2's which has bad 5th wheel position on SCS AI models, with 4x2's in definition :D You can probably get rid of that by moving my SCS replacement pack above Jazzy's. As I said, my mods does not need to be in order. But if you are using Sound Fixes mod, it might be just warning there. I'll think of a better solution for it or remove it altogether to go back to ugly looking truck - trailer distances.

@smith12363 no, it "duplicates" cargoes of SCS's to own trailers that's why you see "two" of each trailer type in trailer browser if you are using SCS replacement addon.

Now thinking of it, may be on top of sound fixes mod. Jazzy's might not be affecting it but Soundfixes.

@SiSL, Thank you for your answer. I would like to ask if you or anyone else knows of a mod that adds more types of cargoes? I pull a reefer and there is a very limited selection of cargoes to haul.

I love your mod by the way and I want to thank you for all your efforts.

I personally pick SCS because they are automatically translated to all languages. Something mods can't do on naming things.

On the other hand, trailers types are limited so by the look they don't seem so different from each other.
