Hi! I love Scania TruckSim, ets2 is absolutely 0 fun: too easy, good just for relaxing time at PC.
I know, in ets2 SCS take care just of the noobs because they are who buy the game, once you are experienced: u r gone... no more fun for you 8(

Scania is a great alternative to ets2 but how did a "simulator" have an analog throttle? Someone will try to drive a real truck around cities with a 100%-0% throttle? Pls SCS give us something new about that...

o/ !

Analog? You meant "digital", I assume.

If you want analog throttle, there's a simple fix. Use a controller that has an analog input, and guess what, analog throttle is right there waiting for you.

Different strokes for different folks and all that, but I think just the opposite about STDS and ETS2. Once you do the driver's license and the dangerous drives, etc., STDS gets boring very quickly. Yes, there are more challenging things in it but once you do them a couple of times, that old "Been There, Done That" thing kicks in and that's it. So it wasn't very long before I was off in search of something else to do. From purchase to that point took about two weeks for me. I bought ETS2 last October, and just like Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel and the other 18 Wheels of Steel games I have, I still play them all, and I probably will play ETS2 for several years at the very least. Even if I never get to update it after SCS goes Steam only. Because to me, it's that good of a game. STDS on the other hand, is the least played of all the SCS games that I have. But that's ok. The only reason I even bought it was to be supportive of SCS. Companies need sales to stay afloat and all that...
