I have the Logitech G29 and it's causing issues I haven't had before in ETS2.
There are two buttons, L3 and R3, when I press them L3 wants to shift into reverse and R3 wants to shift up. Currently me L3 button is assigned to the Lights function, and R3 is the Engine on/off function, it does these things as well on top of the gear switching.
I do not have this problem in ATS so I don't think it's the hardware profile.
Yes I've tried resetting.

Re: G29 Button conflict
You can try to copy the controls.sii file from ATS: "\Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles\different letters and numbers\controls.sii" to the ETS2 same-ish path: "\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\different letters and numbers\controls.sii"
Then you'll need to make the necessary adjustments to the ETS2 controls.

Yes but not the bak ones they are backups. The other way is to scroll though the key bindings and delete the ones causing the issue.

K I found what was wrong, for some reason ETS2 thought I had an H shifter and automatically assigned buttons to control it in the Controls menu, weird, I just use real automatic.
