Re: SCS Blog discussion
It's like a really difficult spot the difference! I'm having a very hard time finding the differences...

Re: SCS Blog discussion
Well in the first photo on the blog, there's power lines that aren't on the photo... also a parachute guy has apparently landed on said power lines.

Re: SCS Blog discussion
The roads in ATS look soooooo brown! Just doesn't look right at all.
Re: SCS Blog discussion
Well.... there are hedges where there are no hedges, same for small walls alongside the side of the road in game where in the real life version you just have a rockside (if the player is a lousy enough driver to hit the rockside then I say let them), roads textures in game doesn't really match up with the real life one, intersections also don't fully match, but I did notice a new type of intersection, but in those pictures it feels like the sun is setting (don't really know why but sunset kinda stresses me out), but the building matches up pretty well with their real life equivalents.
ehh.... SCS will need more map makers to focus on smaller details without slowing down progress though..... but now I kinda wish SCS did not show comparisons and just game shots, so we can just gawk at the new roads rather than end up comparing them to the real life shots.
But what I am curious about is the weigh stations, rest stops, and truck stops (yes there is a difference), after all, truck stops is part of the American Trucking charm, some are quite historic (not sure about any in the California, Nevada, or Arizona area though). Kinda feels like SCS is hiding those places from us (suspicion level over 9000).
But I gotta say.... Batman in Las Vegas... anybody noticed it? (not in current blog post... if it is on the blog at all).

Interesting Dorin, I had idly wondered myself in the past what it stood for, seems you hit the mark though, good wiki sleuthing there fella
