ETS2/ATS Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Dashboard
Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
Damn, that's really neat. Any plans on providing a 64bit version soon?
Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
Telemetry response "real gear", not shown on your in-game dashboard. "Real gear" means real connected gear between engine and wheels. It switches from neutral when you press accelerator and take off.Funbit wrote:Okay, I'm not sure if it is a bug or a feature, but I can definitely say that if I start my engine and switch the gear to D1 (displayed on the truck's gauge inside the game) - the telemetry plugin still reports 0 in the memory mapped structure. When gear is changed to D2 - the plugin changes 0 to 2.
Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
I have compiled 64-bit version of the telemetry plugin. If you want give it a try please download the attached x64 zip archive (put it to the game's "win_x64\plugins" directory).romabysen wrote:Damn, that's really neat. Any plans on providing a 64bit version soon?
PS. I don't have 64-bit version of the game so didn't test it (not my source code anyway..).

Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
So I suppose there's no way to show the same gear that is shown on in-game's dashboard then...

Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
I need it for my AT-plugin viewtopic.php?f=109&t=49772, but I still can't find it
In my plugin i need to guess a riddle (what gear was before?) everytime the game switches to neutral

Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
its caused by automatic gearbox that needs to do some magic guessing. if you use manual shifting (sequential, h-shifter) if should be exact.Funbit wrote:So I suppose there's no way to show the same gear that is shown on in-game's dashboard then...
but thanks for appointing. logical state of automatic gearbox could be reported. i'm making note.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.
Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
No, if using sequental - it doesn't report chosen gear while it's switched by the game to neutral (when braking or stop).Max wrote:if you use manual shifting (sequential, h-shifter) if should be exact.
Dashboard shows last chosen gear, telemetry reports zero.
It would be nice to have both - logical & physical gear.
PS: oh, and one more little wish - currently equipped transmission's gear ratios would be very helpful too
Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
yeah, you're right. sequential can also differ.

Re: ETS2 Telemetry Web Server + Mobile Gauge
It's not about correct or incorrect. It's how the game works. SDK is not officially supported by the OEM, it's for guys which know stuff (like you and Sniper). The average user will never see anything wrong, because the game will report D1 or R, even with the brakes onFunbit wrote:How come that this is correct behavior?
Retired, but still loving it.
