nIGhT-SoN, that's actually what I'm working on. Yesterday evening I've made a PoC server that takes JSON data from several clients on POST request, stores each one with an ID, and sends all data it has to another client on GET request. That's why I was able to fix Chrome problem so fast.

-RKI-, what do you mean by "normal"?.. Quick answer - yes. You can launch the http server on any PC you want, be it unix or windows server. You can upload data to it via FTP or any other data exchange technology, with some complications described in first post.

Current status of the project: I've been doing it by myself alone for two weeks straight. I'm tired. Python part is done completely (so collection and processing), I'm making JS site to display the data. It's gone horribly wrong, because normal JS is not enough (or will be too long), I need some framework. It will probably be D3, looks good. So there's that. Will be done, when - don't know, like everything in open source world. :)

FalloutH4kk4, thanks for support. :)

Actually that's something I can't do completely - I can't design at all. In the main app, there are three strings that show bits of data - I made them for myself to show that the bit I'm working on does it's stuff. Buttons are there for the same reason - I needed a straightforward way to do stuff. As are fields for IP and interval.

If someone could draw a picture with "user friendly" interface that I could reference, I'd really appreciate it. :) Keep in mind that it's meant to be just a connection window. It should provide the telemetry server IP, and a display server IP/hostname (where the data is going to be stored and displayed).

Here, had some free time and thought I should help you with the GUI.

The avatar would work as an about button. When you click it it opens a dialog with your name/website etc.
