This may have been asked several times before, but having steam-workshop downloaded a tandem mod, (the BDF one I think it is) with a second grey skin. What ever happened to SCS bringing Tandem trucks and demounts into the game. It was mentioned WAY back, I am thinking some time in 2015 may have been earlier than that.

Driving tandems is an entirely new concept, and in some cases the pick up pints, such as at Posped and possibly Trameri as well where there is not much space between the trailers and the fence, may be a bit challenging.

so what happened to SCS bringing out Tandem trucks???

Reef has been waiting for Welsh paints since they released the UK pack that had nothing Welsh in it.

I'm quite sure they'll get around to all the countries eventually. It is quite a small country so it may take a while. Very cool flag. Go Wales!

While Flemming V's tandem mod is great, it is not without flaws.

There are major physics and gameplay issues that I don't think modders can solve without significant engine changes by SCS.

Things like a real coupling implementation that can handle the drawbar connection. Or cargo being distributed between trailer and truck,- as I understand, at the moment the trailer holds the entire weight of the cargo. But also things like proper loading and unloading, where you also have to dock the rigid, not just drop the trailer.

I agree, but for now it works well considering the game engine limitations you mention. SCS does not seem much interested in tandems or doubles at the time. I'm sure they're working on catching up with many other higher priorities. I wish that were different but it is what it is. I hope if and when they do decide to make tandems an official part of the game that they enlist Flemming V to do the job.
