TurboSquid don't technically have the license to sell it either. When KenworthAU looked into RTA for selling their property without permission they also looked into TurboSquid.

Couldnt SCS just buy this https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/3d ... er/1098912 and then release it, if they get the license?

They've already digitally scanned the real truck at Scania's factory and are working on the final touches now. That tells me they either already have the license or are just waiting for final approval. They aren't going to spend all that money if they weren't sure it was a done deal.

They do have the license, they already told us that.

However they still have to get the models approved, they can't just release it when they think it is finished. Scania still have to have the final say.

I just hope they make it just right, then im pretty sure i can remove my mod folder.
