Heavy Load Trailers -- Could this mean...
...that trailer dollies are finally going to be a feature? This is a big thing on my mind (and for others too) because there are many mods out with a [non-functional] dolly + trailer combo. The dolly feature will be a BIG "game-changer".

Re: Heavy Load Trailers -- Could this mean...
SCS didn't specifically show any trailers that would suggest an additional pivot (unlike ATS), but one can hope.
On that note however, none of the images suggested it pivots. I'm just waiting for SCS to maybe confirm or deny such a thing before I make a judgement on the call.

I noticed that the wheels for the new trailer are already in game base (since 1.26 tbh).
Looks good even on the schwarzmuller (changing the node).

the wheels have nothing to do with it the Schwarmüller Trailer has them because it needs them to be so low

I'll have to investigate that steerable axle attribute. But what I am really looking for is the dolly feature, or multiple pivot points in other words.

The schwarzmuller has them because i have added them after editing the wheel node in blender.CARL1992 wrote:the Schwarmüller Trailer has them because it needs them to be so low
In the base file the wheel overweight/245_70_r17_5 are not linked to any definition, and are set too wide for this trailer.
The default wheel for this trailer are the same standard overweight wheels for the old red overweight trailer.

Would you mind making it as a standalone mod?

Re: Heavy Load Trailers -- Could this mean...
Squirrel had permission off SCS to show some of the new heavy stuff. A few heavy load choices, bigger trailers with more wheel and axle configurations. Steerable axles where the trailers seemed to turn on a sixpence. Well ok a big sixpence maybe. The video may be on his Twitch/Youtube site. It came out on a live stream late last night, Wednesday. Not ready for release yet and no date given or professed to be known by Squirrel in the stream.
Re: Heavy Load Trailers -- Could this mean...
With the new heavy trailers and extra chassis options etc, does that mean the players cant use the normal chassis to drive those?
I am Always on latest patch.
