Increased traffic, no AI traffic gentle
Increased traffic, no AI traffic gentle
When using mods to increase traffic, the AI traffic is not too gentle, so causing dead end traffic and all the time I need to save and load game to abort this issue
This happens on all map, almost all semaphores and crossings.
They do not maintain free passage, which leads/generated congestion - no one goes to anywhere.

Re: Increased traffic, no AI traffic gentle
Sorry to ask, but why do you think this is a bug, when you use mods to make it happen?
I guess that you also now know why SCS has limited the traffic in game and not added the traffic slider yet,
they want to avoid things like this to happen.

ETS2 have the preset to allow changing the amount of cars, trucks, etc.
The only thing what is done, was grow up/increase a little bit, 95 cars. The intention is to keep the game interesting, a little bit realistic and a basic rule is not followed.
I think, sometimes it is boring to drive on desert.
Precisely, can not be a bug or what ever, only because I change this preset... that is allowed.
If u wish can move it to "wishlist" and maybe, "someday" , SCS will fix this, or lock this changing, or let it die XD.
So many thing was done but the AI still is a problem on my opinion.
SCS still keep this basic for while, after so many time?

Re: Increased traffic, no AI traffic gentle
Sure, I also hope they can somehow find a solution, so the road can lift much more traffic.
I have my own mod which triple the traffic on roads and double it in cities at special intervals along the day,
and I also have these problems with traffic. But I do not report it as a bug..

Flemming you naughty boy, you've gone and spoiled one of SCS's surprises for us!
Mind you, I can't talk, I used some DLC North prefabs in a map and released it, and I'm not even a beta tester. Guess that's why I'm not one... I couldn't keep a secret.
Of course, if they DID make me a beta tester, I could instantly learn how to keep a secret (hint, hint)

Re: Increased traffic, no AI traffic gentle
I don't think it's a surprise and that you will have to wait for it, I think that it's already build into the engine in 1.11? (if not, I am in deep trouble now.)
I use the code, but the code itself is now removed and I think it is that because it's now build into the engine.
Check out and see if your are almost alone around from 9pm to 5am and again at 10am to 12am
and has many cars around you around 5am to 10am and again at 1pm to 6pm around that time.
If this is not the case, I will be in so deep trouble for revealing something I should not have said...
