Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Had these jumps too. Stopped when I removed that stupid avast virus scanner.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I've read some posts about Avast antivirus blocking/interfering in a bad way with SCS games. Either you can try to add the games to it's Avast Games list or you may need to look for another antivirus.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I've always used Avast and never had this problem before, but it could be as you say and affect in some circunstances.
Anyway, yesterday night I played without issues, even launching the game twice. There was some Oculus update too a few days ago, so maybe they changed something.
I'll cross fingers it doesn't happen again.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I downloaded the beta version from the ets2 stim. I go to the properties, the beta tab to select the driver for the oculus rift, but it does not reveal it because there is no choice what to do and how to start with the oculus rift cv1?
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
The problem of launching ETS2 (autosimulator)
I can not run in oculus cv1, I looked at the YouTube guide and what: https: https://www.youtube.co…xwUa1ZcUIT4nuBKVIx7bsr
On the drivers installed only oculus home I have
Downloaded the beta version of the game in the Steam next with the command-line option -oculus entered, put the switch on to turn on applications from unknown sources.
And with the start all is sad in the settings (properties) beta it is necessary to choose another driver as a video, and I do not have it there at all, if anyone knows how it appears there and what to do, step by step I will be grateful? When I run, the sound goes to the headphones and that's it. Need help, help

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
@bodua25: Have you tried pressing F11 once inside the game menu? Sometime it helps.
Anyway, as long as you have latest beta (currently "Oculus/Vive 1.27"), and add the "-oculus" parameter, it should work.
Good luck.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I have a problem only in the beta tab (properties): there I need to select the experimental version of the driver, but there is no choice, I'm asking this.
I tried to reinstall the game, and restarted Steam, the computer, and all this did not help and does not appear, and then I do not understand the reason for the absence

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
All that you write is understandable, but in beta I can not choose an experimental version (photo : https://cloud.mail.ru/public/pzyo/ndKeBiuqh)Katixa wrote:@bodua25: Have you tried pressing F11 once inside the game menu? Sometime it helps.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
@bodua25: I see 'demo' in your screenshot. I think you need the full version of the game to be able to access the beta branches.
System specs: Ryzen 5800X3D, RTX3080 (no OC), Varjo Aero (using OpenXR through OpenComposite instead of SteamVR), 32 GB DDR3200, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB, Win10. And most importantly: vanilla game, no mods.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
hm...i dont get the Heavy Cargo Pack working. Is it only with the Oculus version?
