1.50 UI Opinions
1.50 UI Opinions
Personally I don't mind material designs but this design choice is like looking at an early access game done by one or two developers. Even UI kits for engines like unreal or unity look better then this... Very curious what the final outcome will be but as it is now its a complete joke. Even things a simple as input fields all have different spaces in between them.
Very curious as to what other things of this. Just give it a number! 1 is horrid, 10 is amazing.

Flat design, maybe. But this is just back 9 steps towards Alpha release instead of going forward with time.

Re: 1.50 UI Opinions
Been using the new UI in both ETS2 and ATS 1.50 since both betas were released. Got used to them pretty quickly. Have to say I like the new UI. If anybody suggests an option to use the old UI instead of the new UI, well SCS is Not going to allow it. You use what the Devs gives you. If you want to use the old UI you will have to stay on 1.49 which can cause issues with new DLC that will be released.
Die with memories, not dreams.
Re: 1.50 UI Opinions
Why try and change something which isn’t broken??
Re: 1.50 UI Opinions
Presumably because they are working towards console release and for that it was broken.

Re: 1.50 UI Opinions
And even if not was broken, the UI was in very much need of big changes (apart from the improvements that had received in the last year in several updates).
That doesn't mean that all the changes made are good neither that there's no room to improvement. But if people just limit themselves and say "I don't like it bring back the old one"; well, that's not going to happen and neither nothing will change on the new one due lack of proper feedback.
So, if we really want it to be improved before final release, better we start to explain in detail what we don't like and why. That doesn't grant us anything, but at least is something that will be considered.

Might be useful to edit the top post, making clear if 1 is best or worst.
